So I just checked Pacer and the trustee FINALLY filed the Report of No Distribution. I was discharged on 2/19. Here's my question-we wanted to reaffirm our house and one car. Our other debt was student loan and credit card. The credit card debt was all we knew would get discharged. However in the report, he states the total amount to be discharged as like $100,000 more than the credit card debt-what's that about? Does that mean the reaffirmation agreements didn't go through? That would be much more than 100K-I'm so confused.

What does your petition say?
Did you actually sign a reaffirmation agreement? If not, then you did a ride through. If you signed a reaffirmation agreement was it filed? If so, it would show in your BK documents. It had to be filed before your discharge to be officially reaffirmed.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008
Discharged Jan 5, 2009! Closed Jan 18, 2009
I am not an attorney. None of my advice is legal advice in any way..

I signed both reaffirmation agreements and both were filed and show up on pacer, but then I never heard anything else-should I have? I thought once they were filed, it was a done deal. And I'm still confused by the amount??

Ummmmm - I don't know.
Since your reaffirmations are filed, then yes you have reaffirmed and that debt should not be in the discharge figures. Have you contacted your attorney for an explanation? That would be my first suggestion.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008
