filed conversion from chapter 13 to chapter 7 today and will hear about when the 341 meeting soon. We plan to surrender both vehicles and buy a used car we can share for cash until things get better. We have 90 days from 341 to discharge. When can we buy a new (used) vehicle? How long before capital one auto comes for our cars? Anyone have any experience with them? If we buy a vehicle cash before discharge will we get in trouble? thanks!

You won't get into trouble to downsize your vehicle. That today is necessary. I cannot say how long before your cars are picked up but you might call them to get an idea. Please take pictures of the cars, and get a signed release of condition when the fellow ramps them up. No big deal.
