Past 60 days, not discharged yet

My discharge date was for 3/24, when I checked pacer, it still says awaiting discharge, how much longer do I have to wait now? Is this normal? The trustee report has already been filed, that was filed on 1/29.

Hang in there dr. They may be very busy at this time. As these companies keep announcing lay off's, you can bet a certain percentage of the people will have to file or were about to and then wham the layoff. Your turn is soon. 'Hub

It won't be long. Just be patient. There are more people filing BK now than ever so your District might be backed up. It'll happen soon. Good luck.

I just seen this entered: Debtor discharged: 3/27/2009, Date terminated: 3/27/2009. Is this what I am looking to see?

I am at day 64. My attorney said that the discharge will come anywhere from 60 to 90 days, but possibly closer to the 90 day mark since the courts are pretty backed up with bankruptcy filings these days.

Hi Emma - I know how you are feeling right now. My husband and I ended up driving to the courthouse on Day 115. Fortunately, we got a really nice lady and we were discharged right then and there. We are in the IE, so we filed in Riverside. If you are in Burbank, I bet you filed in LA.

                      Woo Hooo!

                      Congrats all you dischargees!

Calling the BK clerk definitely helps if you are over the 60 day mark for awhile.

I was discharged over the phone while I was on hold.

                      Be really nice, though.
