It may not matter. Maybe someone here knows for sure.

I would make monthly payments, not annual, so you can use it as a monthly expense.

An annual expense divided by 12 equals the monthly expense.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

i just got a reply from the lawyer... when i asked about using insurance premiums for expense, he replied that only "term life" insurance would be accepted in the life insurance category....

im no insurance expert, how do i go about buying a policy that would have a high payment to suit my needs, just look in the phone book?..what do i look for in a policy?

how long do i need to have this policy before i file?

I don't understand your attorney. When I filed I had a whole life policy and the monthly payment was never questioned by either the Trustee or the UST. Of course I had it for several years before filing (7 yrs as term and then converted to whole life in 2005) so that may make a difference. IDK.

Seems to me your attorney is not very knowlegable. JMO.

on my lawyers expense sheet, they had "installment loans" listed as an expense... what kind of loan is he talking about, that would be a legal bk expense?

Installment loan is any type of loan that has a fixed payment period and a fixed payment amount. For example 36 months at $400/mth. to pay for a car. Revolving is a credit card type loan.

This is a debt you owe so it belongs on the petition. If you are getting rid of the debt in the BK it does not count toward your expenses.

i think that im so screwed!...ive got to lose another 3 to 500 bucks per month and if i was to get 300 bucks more expenses to qualify, i will be sitting at the house watching the trees grow..

im already claim 500 bucks per month for food, as i dont cook and eat out... ill bet they will gig me for that..
i claim 300 for gas, as i visit mom 4-5 times a week..
200 to help mom with bills..
a bunch of stuff like that.....

ive got 3625 in questionable expenses and 4000 per month income..

my house payment is only 600 per month, but its an ARM that will change to god knows what in the next 18 months..

                      damn, damn, damn!

i guess that if i want it as an exense, i need to call citibank and see if i can catch up, as im 3 months late.... or should i wait for them to deal with me?

Can't use it as an expense. It will be discharged.

You can certainly come up with more expenses if you try harder. What charitable contributions do you make? Why are you only helping your mother with $200 monthly? Get that term life policy. Lower your deductibles on your auto and homeowner's insurance.

All your unsecured debt is discharged. You can't pick and choose.

on a positive note, i see that my income tax deduction from my paycheck is not listed on my lawyers form and thats about 250 bucks..

well, if i cant get a 7, i wont file.. so maybe i should negotiate a couple small debts like this personal loan... one less lawsuit...
