This is just terrific news. Maybe like in the Scarlet Letter we should all have a big "D" for debtor branded onto our foreheads. That way society in general can easily identify us. The bk process is hard enough without adding public humiliation to the list.

Sure, we could always turn it into a stylish letter D, as Hester did with her A.

Honestly, it only bothered me a tiny bit at the very first. Now I look at the financial situation of so many of my coworkers, living paycheck to paycheck, using the credit cards to buy what they perceive as necessary. They have so much more stress in their lives than I do. I am blessed. Truly.
