    341 meeting questions

How soon after filing is the meeting and where does it take place. Do they have weekend meetings? We are planning on moving out of state and I understand we have to be back for that meeting. I don't know too much about it yet however.

    Thanks,
    Pattygg

The meeting is usually within 1 and a half months. The location depends on where you file. It seems like you should be able to find this out before hand. In my case, the 341 was at the same building where I filed my petition.

The 341 is usually scheduled 2-3 weeks after you file, but there is no hard and fast rule on when it will happen. Some Districts are more backlogged than others and the best way to find out is to check PACER http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/ or wait for your notification in the mail. To my knowledge they don't offer weekend meetings and conduct business during Government hours (M-F).

Since you'll be moving out of state, PACER will be a Godsend for you to keep track of things, but be careful about the number of pages you download because it costs .08 cents a page. Since the 341 is the last hurdle before your discharge, one last trip back home will be worth it.

        Thank,
