    Receipts?

I am filing 7 in several months. I am over 1 K under the median (two person HH) and my means test comes out several hundred in the negative.

I have been reading where the Trustee may question your spending habits. Such as going out to eat, things you have purchased, etc. No luxury items though....can't afford them!

What receipts should I be keeping? Like everytime I go shopping or get gas do I need to keep the receipt? When I withdraw $100 bucks from checking for misc. items I need through the week....do I need to keep receipts for everything I use it for.

I would hate to get to my 341 and have to try and recount all of my purchases from memory.

How picky are they about spending what little money I have?

You guys are stressing for nothing.
Unless you have some large and recent cc activity or some unusually large deposits and withdrawals from your bank account in the weeks and months leading to bk nobody is going to much care about what you spent money on. You are allowed to buy groceries, fill up the gas tank, pay insurance premiums, etc. Nobody cares about MacDonalds, or Starbucks, etc.

Thank you. This is just stressful for me and I will be glad when it is filed and then OVER!.

This MB has been a God-send for me. I don't know if I could have done this without all of the help I have found here.

I'd say a couple of grand a couple of months before filing that is outside your normal purchasing pattern may raise a red flag.
Keep in mind, the trustee is looking for assets. Normal spending isn't anything they'll spend any time on.
