Filing Ch7 and I dont have copies of my paychecks from 6 months r/o

I have copies for the past 3 months and I have contacted the HR dept in my company to see if they have copies. They said that they dont keep copies past 10 weeks, what can I do?

Companies have to keep payroll records 3 years or longer. They keep payroll records, a/r records for several years after the physical year has ended. They have to have a paper trail to "prove" their payroll, accounts payable, etc. They may not have a paper copy of your checks but they can "print" you a copy of your payroll records that can be used instead. Just request it from your payroll dept. And really its none of their business why you need it either.

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
