    last day for objections questions

So today is my last day for objections. Yay!

Now I'm thinking about credit repair. What type of card can I get for this purpose and specifically WHEN should I attempt to apply? I am sadly probably going to need it in the next coming months ot pay for potential moving expendes, because I am expected to be laid off by June. I'll have to move back home to mother. Yes, I've been looking for a new job for the last year with no luck.

I would think you would probably only qualify for a secured card or one of those semi-secured cards ( where they charge you enormous account opening fees that suck up your available credit unitl you pay off the fees ( which are a HUGE ripoff!)

You may only get a few hundred bucks worth of available credit.

Don't think that is going to help you much with moving expenses. ANyway, why would you want to get in debt again so soon after BK? You don't want to start that messy ball rolling all over again. Just my opinion.

SAve your pennies and borrow from a family member if you abslotely have to , but don't get into debt again if you can possibly avoid it.

I understand wanting to repair credit and start over , but you aren't even out of BK yet.

Start small, get a secured card with a small balance, like 300.00. Charge something that you know you can pay back, like gas, and then pay it back through an online payment within a few days of making the charge.

How are you going to pay back a CC if you are laid off.

Save save save while you are able to live with your mom and then learn how to live on a cash basis for awhile.

Then start the rebuilding, after you have trained yourself to live within your means.

well i have no one to borrow from which is the main issue. family is a no go and i have no savings. i would qualifiy for unemployment which would be my only source of income until i find another job (which is looking to be sometime past never). it's not tht i want to get back into debt , i just do not see any other options at this point. especially consideringi have no available savings.

I don't think you are going to be offered much credit this soon out of BK.

Unless your credit was stellar before BK, you might get one of those rebuilder cards, but they typically don't offer much credit and have huge fees.

Your bk is going to sting for quite awhile, credit wise.

i understand that, just wanted to see what options are out there.

meanwhile, the tickle date expired on pacer today. i called the court to see when they may update the docket and show my discharge, next week. fingers crossed.
