Does anyone know if free real estate appraisal sites like zillow.com or eappraisal.com are acceptable to the trustee or judge when determining the value of our home for chapter 7

Stay away from them! You can get a free estimate of value by contacting a realtor and having them provide you comparable sales within the last 90 days. I find the sites like zillow are off by at least 10% (higher) than actual value. Sometimes more.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008
