    What does this mean??

Just got a letter in the mail saying that my meeting is set for March 30. It says that one document was not filed by my attorney. the document missing is "Certification of Submission of payment Advices to Trustee". Does anyone know what that means?? Tried to call lawyer,, but no one is in today... so i am freaking out over here,,, Thanks for any answers you may have.

It just means they need some pay stubs. Your attorney will probably be filing them soon. But call them just to make sure. We were told that this happens in almost every case. I freaked when we go one too. But it is all good in the end.

    Breathe, just breathe....Good luck.

That sounds like a local BK rule.

Ususally a certification is a form you fill out stating you did something, in this case, gave your trustee your pay stubs.

Did you give your Trustee your pay stubs?

IF so, you may have to go to your local courts website and look under local forms and print out a document and sign it.

Perhaps your lawyer forgot to file it?

Look on your district website and see if you can find the form.

          CAll him tomorrow.

Did the letter say anything about a possible dismissal and give you a deadline for getting the document in?

If there is a deadline, make sure you keep on your attorney until it is filed. You don't want to get dismissed for missing a document, it is a PITA, I know, i lived it!

You can check PACER to see if it happened to be filed between the time the letter was sent and today, maybe it was just filed a bit late? Also, checking PACER can keep you up to date on any other issues that might come up, not saying that there will be issues.

From what I gather from my attorney's office, they need to see your signature on a form. Since most of the paperwork is submitted online, there will be a few things that have to be submitted directly to the court. I would just double check that it got to the courthouse by checking with your lawyer first and the court second.

This notice seems to be automatic. My lawyer said he wishes that they would just send this particular notice to the attorney. It causes a lot of worry for nothing.

            Good luck.
