    Another self-employment question

I've been thinking . . . since my business took a serious nose dive last year, I left my rented office space and have been working out of my (rented) home. It's been kind of rough-going because I went from renting a suite of 4 offices to one tiny home office with tons of stuff crammed into the basement. As a way of increasing my expenses just in case I can't come in under the median (because business has picked up), maybe I should rent office space again?

Does anyone see a reason NOT to do this? Could there be any legal problems with this? Again, it's just a thought . . .

    Thanks!

Absolutely not a problem to rent office space for your business if you need to show less profit for the business.

But, I would do a short term rental in case you need to bring the business back to the home office to cut expenses.
