jessegirl, thank you for being so open to helping others thru PM. I'm filing chpt 7 tomorrow and i'd put 90 percent odds I'm going to be dealing with the UST - of course, I probably won't know that for sure until my 341 sometime in mid-April, but from everything I've learned on this blog it's almost a sure thing.Filed C7: 03/09/09

What makes you think the UST will get involved in your case?
Now I am nervous. We are filing chapter 7 in April, under median, 150k in unsecured. Am I at risk? I don't know if I can take anymore stress!

hi eddie, I filed today, my 341 is scheduled at the end of April. If you're under median, I would say you have nothing to worry about. I'm over median, but still pass the means test, and have about the same amount of unsecured debt as you. But my lawyer said I shouldn't have any trouble - he's brutally honest too, he was looking thru my papers and said this is some weird *hit (due to what I would charge).Filed C7: 03/09/09
