How does one buy a house in Denmark? They don't have mortgages? I have some Danish relatives coming this weekend for an All American BBQ at my parents house, I will have to discuss this with them.
My fiancee is Danish... but he loves the US way more than Denmark now... lol.BK Ch 7 Discharged 09/2009 | Anything I say can and should be used as friendly advice and sharing of experiences with an unbiased viewpoint.

I got a 5k cc pretty quickly out of bk. No fee from NFCU. BUT - I only use it for rebuilding purposes and nothing else. I haven't gotten a grip on the new cc legistature but my understanding of it is that we will be charged interest as soon as we use the cards. Whereas before, if it was paid off in a certain amount of time the interest would be waived. So for this - I haven't been using mine. Insofar as my credit scores, they aren't bad. I think they are including my car debt which was discharged and I need to get the bureaus to correct this.Filed Chapter 7 Pro-Se May 29, 2008

There may be some other factors that I'm missing but all in all its pretty simple. Same with a car loan... you first go to your bank and ask them how much you can afford. Then, you pick out the car and then get the bank to issue a draft. Its also wierd because everything is so expensive in Denmark so like their car loans can go up to 30 years.
