So a repo after discharge is not a .......

"Repo" on your credit report since its already discharged thru BK7? My girl friend (Whom i will marry) bought me a new truck for valentines Day.....Yep, she's a keeper!..... So I'm thinking about turning in the Harley cause she don't ride and i don't ride it anymore and get rid of payment. Never re-affirmed, On my CR it says 0 balance , included and or discharged thru Chapter7. If i give it back, can they change that to a "Voluntary Repo" on my CR ?

    Thanks,

    Have a great day!!!!

We asked our attorney last week, that if we didn't want to keep the vehcile I was leasing can we just give it back without owing anything. He said as long as it was listed on your petition and you DID NOT sign a reaffirmation, that you can give it back without owing anything. I told him that I am still paying on it and i am current. He says yes, you can give it back and wie will NOT owe anything.

Thats the word of my attorney - I hope hes is right.

          But,

can they change it to a "Voluntary Repo" on my CR or will they have to leave it the way it is now and that's, IIBK, 0 balance, closed.?

          Thanks......

As far as I know, they mustn't change anything.
