So my husband is filing ch 7 soon and we had an appointment to talk to the lawyer. However, the lawyer wasn't there and we talked to a paralegal. The paralegal showed us the paper work and had my husband sign. He was nice but we left with answers unanswered. We apparently did not turn in all the income check stubs, we are missing one. I was under the impression that income was based on when you earned the money, not when it was paid. So apparently it is when the paychecks were received. Now we have to wait for the paralegal to fix our schedules with the right amounts. I just want this over with.

He asked us to sign it anyways and we declined. We live in a rural area and he was saying just to sign to save us from the drive to their office. I'm really not satisfied the lawyer or the paralegal, but we had to pay before they did the schedules.Comment
