CC with $0 balance How should they report

I have a question about CC that had a zero balance at the time of filing. How should they appear on your Credit Report after discharge?

We aren't discharged yet but I pulled my credit report and there are several accounts that have the status of "Pays as Agrees" but a comment of "Account closed by Credit Grantor". These are the accounts that had zero balances before filing and I assume were closed because of the filing.

I haven't seen any of the zero balance accounts indicated IIB. I'm I correct in assuming that if one of these accounts do show up as IIB that I can dispute it because they were paid in full?

Also how is the "Account closed by Credit Grantor" commented evaluated? These accounts had perfect payments and were paid off at least 2 years prior to filing, will they have a positive or negative effect on my score because of the comment?

    Thanks

You will need to dispute the ones that do not say IIB.

OK, not to be stupid but this is news to me since I haven't filed yet. Should I go ahead and close the accounts that have zero balance so that they show closed by consumer? Are the CC cos automatically going to close them on me?
      Thanks.

Good point on closing the credit card accounts ahead of time so that it shows closed by consumer. I honestly hadn't thought of taking that tack ... but you're absolutely right. Because here's the thing, nearly all of your credit cards with $0 balances will be closed by the credit card companies anyways, and no matter what your pay history with them was!!!! Better to head them off at the pass. That's a fantastic thought. Love it.
