Can someone please help with tips on how to use Pacer? I have been lurking on the site for a LONG time and we filed a Chapter 7 on Jan 8th and had our 341 on Feb 14. We have received some notices of relief of stay and I am curious to see what else Pacer might have listed. Can anyone help??? Thanks!

Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER)
You go to the main PACER site (google it)
Then go to the website for the district you filed in (make sure you do the Bankruptcy District not normal District Court).
You register.
Now the important part be careful, its like 8 cents a view.
Once you finish registration you go back to the site log in
Then you can search for your SSN or by your case number
Then you can see what's going on
Relief to Stays are generally filed on items you are surrendering or items you originally said you were keeping but failed to make payments on since filing.May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
July 2nd, 2007: 341 Meeting Held
September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.

Make sure after you login and put your SS page that you stop at the main page, there will be a last updated status- if you see that it hasn't changed since you last ran a query then DO not go any further, as you will be wasting your money!
You won't be billed until you go over 10 bucks worth of charges, but be careful that site is like a drug addiction.Filed: 11/25/08 - chp 7 no asset
