    Stimulus and schedule J

I filed on Feb. 18. My 341 is set for March 26. Now, I hear that by April 1, the stimulus bill will give me about $8 a week, or around $24 a month. My Schedule J showed about $54 of leftover income a month. My unsecured debt load is about $40,000.

My concern: will this extra bit of cash cause me trouble in getting my chapter 7? I did not know about it at the time of my filing, so my schedules did not take it into account.

Also, does anyone know of a website where we can find out exactly what we are getting out of the tax cut?
I think of my bankruptcy less as "walking away" and more as "gnawing my leg off to get out of a trap".

Try decreasing your exemptions on your W-4. You can also list your exemptions at 9 and then "Add" an amount to withhold. The 9 exemptions is typically enough to keep any money from being withheld and thus your additional withholding is the total withheld.

If you list more than 9 exemptions on a w-4, your employer is required to notify the IRS quarterly.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick
