Please stop not using it. This is getting old already. If you have all that money to give away for oil changes, you need to send the money MY WAY.

If winters were 30 days long and summers 8 months or so I'd love to stay here. I wouldn't spend 3 days in DC and the weather has noting to do with it.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

I use Amsoil in my John Deere I bought on Autotrader.

Then stop keeping it to yourself and tell more people about it. For every person you don't tell, you're allowing them to spend a fortune on oil changes and they are wearing out their car sooner than necessary.

I am so boiling mad at my friends who knew about it in the 80's and didn't tell me. I would have saved a FORTUNE all this time if I had known about it. I've done a LOT of oil changes since then since I've driven well over 600,000+ miles since getting my driver's license.

Both of those states are insane. You have to be a masochist to live in either one to enjoy the suffering of cold weather that is painful and watching your cars get destroyed right before your very own eyes, year after year, as the salt eats away the undercarriage.

As far as I am concerned, the south should have like 250 million people living in it and very few people should be living up north. Why do people like to suffer in such cold states? Why isn't Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, etc. all jam packed with corporate headquarters?

I've lived up north in the past. I have permanent burns on my legs from the cold weather from being outside. I have patches on my legs where hair no longer grows. When I had to wash the salt off of my cars in 6 degree weather, my hands were hurting SOOOOOOO bad! Why would anyone want to endure this pain, year after year? Why not enjoy the tropical climate of Florida? If not Florida, what's wrong with Georgia or Tennessee? Why do people dislike living in states with decent weather? Why the cold and tax fetishes? I don't get it. It's like people suffer in living in states with high taxes and they enjoy it! WHY?!?!?!?! I don't get it.

Damn those friends of yours in the '80s. Not only did they not save you thousands in oil changes but they've given you high blood pressure and ulcers.

I have taken to standing on the street corner in a clown's costume with a sign reading, "The End is Near! Convert to Amsoil Today!" Honestly, I don't know what more I can do to get more people on the Amsoil bandwagon.

Amsoil is only one item to save people money. I'm sure there's many products you could switch to.

Why don't you tell us about them.

I just happen to like Amsoil because I think it's neat to avoid paying for $1500 dollar transmission rebuilds and $2000 dollar engine overhauls.

I don't know of any products in life that can help me do that. Maybe fish oil pills to avoid open heart surgery?

                  Let's go from there.

I'm considering switching to the Amish lifestyle. No cars, electricity, cell phone. The only problem is I don't think Amsoil has a product designed to improve the efficiency and mileage of my horse and buggy.

I've lived in Western NY, Minneapolis, and Cleveland. I can tell winter weather stores with the best of them and I love winter! I love all four seasons (except when it gets too hot in the summer) and I love seeing them change. Why would I want to live in on reclaimed swampland and fear hurricanes every year? Other than heart attacks from shoveling, people rarely die in blizzards. And you might get some roof damage, but your house isn't in pieces.

That's a very good idea. Your health will improve dramatically getting all of that exercise.

                            I say do it.

I wish everyone would take time to link to sites. It makes it so much easier to know what people are talking about. Look how many AutoTrader examples I have posted in other messages. All of those cheap cars when people are out buying used, high mileage junk with problems waiting to happen.
