Open new checking acct with what bank

Just getting ready to file in a few days.

I have a checking acct with Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Wamu.

I am including in the BK CC's with Wells Fargo, B of A, Chase and AT&T Universal

Question:Who should i open up a bank acct with before the filing?

Chase is Wamu now so that wouldn't work.

Citibank??? because i have a cc with them with no balance????

Or Bank of the West?? but i don't know if they are affiliated with any of my bk cards...

Any ideas?

I did not change my checking account and did not have a problem with the bank I had a HELOC with. the bank did not do anything to my checking account.

If you're filing in a few days it probably won't matter. Just make sure to cancel any payment authorizations that might exist (go into websites and delete your Pay From bank accounts).

To be extra safe find another local bank to open an account with.

does anyone know if Citibank is connected to Wells fargo, AT&T Universal card or Chase?
