I'm a bit confused...I was discharged yesterday, and got a letter from my attorney today saying so (I'd already checked on pacer). Awesome, but he also said that I couldn't sell anything yet because the trustee hadn't filed a report of no distribution. I wasn't planning on selling anything, but I'm also a no asset case? Isn't this report usually filed right after the 341? Will this hold up closing? Should I even be concerned?? Thanks in advance for input.

Discharge but no report of no distribution?

It's probably just a matter of the clerk getting the paperwork uploaded to PACER, which since this is Sunday, won't happen before tomorrow at the earliest.
I don't know why the attorney would say not to sell anything. He might just be wanting to 'play it safe.' If you are a 'no asset' case, all of the administrative behind-the-scenes stuff should happen fairly quickly and you should see 'Closed' soon.
But, anyway...................
CONGRATULATIONS on your Discharge. Time to rouse the hamsters!!

Thanks AngelinaCat!
I still haven't seen anything on pacer, which I realize is probably no big deal. However, I'm not sure I understand the difference between being listed as "no asset" and having the Report of No Distribution filed. If I'm no asset, then doesn't that automatically mean there will be no distribution of $$? I guess I won't stop freaking out until it's over. It just seems weird to me...

But my 341 was yesterday, and Pacer shows report of no distribution as of this AM. I am gathering that's a good thing? I am still searching threads to find out exactly what that means.

Grammy I am in the same boat basically....Been discharged since 7/08 and still not closed or heard anything from the trustee ?? I just quit checking Pacer everyday and check monthly now.... Attorney says to keep saving $$ for when they do call and I guess decide we are an asset case since we are over the Fl exemptions. It must be quite a mountain of BK's over there ??
