What types of income are used for the means test

I might be over thinking this but what qualifies as income for the means test - is there a specific definiton that is use to detemine what is income?

I know wages earned is used in calculation but what about these other types of funds that may be received in prior 6 months:

    Stock dividend
    sale of stock
sale of stock with capital gain
    sale of boat or car
    IRA distribution
    Interest on a bank account
Winnings from slot machine that generate tax reporting
winnings from your fantasy football league
Cash you won in a contest

Is income as simple as something that generates reporting to IRS for tax reasons?

    Thanks

In our case, income was defined as "money received from all sources" in the six months prior to filing (not just income reported to the IRS). The answer is that it depends on your circumstances whether or not you're held to this definition. Being above median and discharging a lot of debt makes UST involvement more likely, and if that happens *everything* can be counted as income.
