No Asset Chapter 7 attorney fees in NC?

Hello! Anyone care to comment on attorney fee's quoted here in NC for a single petition, no asset, Chapter 7 filing? Thanks!

Well, attorneys fees are regulated by the cout (to some degree), an attorney must be able to justify their fee, so that puts somewhat of a cap on the high end. Thus, you get attorneys that charge a cut-rate fee, have all the work performed by a paralegal and maybe sepend 15-30 minutes actually looking at your case, and with other firms, they will vary.

Bottom line, you will never be charged "too much", so the real issue is the level and quality of service you want.

The ranges that I got here in eastern NC were about $1500-$1800.
