    question and consult with attorney

I have a free consultation with a BK attorney tomorrow. I'm crossing my fingers that it goes well, but I'm really nervous about this.

I also have a question. My husband and I have been really bad about going out to eat and picking up fast food. We don't use credit cards (we haven't used any cc's for over a year now), but we do use our debit card so all those transactions will show on a bank statement. Will this make us ineligible to file BK? The amount we pay to eat out is nowhere near enough for us to pay off our debts or even the minimum payments, but I worry the trustee would not allow us to file BK because of it.

    Thanks for any feedback.

No, but for your own budgeting, you should try to curb that habit.

Thanks for responding. I just started freaking out earlier when I thought of that. I know our wallets (and our waistline) would be much better off if we stopped eating out, or limited it to very rare occassions.

BK is not debtor prison. no one is going to question your eating habits.
