    Filing an tax 2008 extention, can i stil file BK

    What happens if i need to file a tax extention for my 2008 return but am going to file BK in May?

    Can i still file in May?

    I wont have my taxes ready until july or so?

    Yes you could still file bk before then.

    I'm assuming you are not expecting a refund but if you were the Trustee would most likely seize it unless it can be exempted.
    May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
    July 2nd, 2007: 341 Meeting Held
    September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.
