    Good news...

    Finally! Atleast I think it is. I just checked pacer and it says that I am a no asset case and that the meeting of creditors had concluded and it also says, awaiting discharge. So I am thinking this is all really good news and now I just sit and wait for the 60 days to be over. Anything I need to do/watch for between now and then?

    Good for you! Now you get to play the waiting game for 60 or so days and then you'll be free to start rebuilding your financial house. The next big thing to be on the lookout for if you have not seen it yet is the trustee's report of no distribution. It basically is the trustee's notification to the court that there are no assets to distribute in your case and that your case should be discharged when the time arrives. If you have a few dollars to spare you can always go into Pacer and change the case number on your query to reflect a case that came before yours (it would have a lower case number) so that you can see how a normal case proceeds in your district. I did this and after comparing a few cases I was able to learn what I should be looking for and I was also able to gauge the general speed at which my district handled cases that were similar to mine (no assets, CH7, and filed in the same timeframe).
    Filed: 10/25/08 (No Assets, CH 7) :blink:
    341 Meeting: 12/4/08 :aggress:
    Discharged: 2/3/09 :clapping:
    Closed: 2/3/09 :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

      Pacer does have the report of no distribution on it already. So I guess I am doing ok. I need to find something to do until my 60 days are up otherwise I am going to go nuts!
      Thanks for repsonding
