We filed Ch7 Petition on 12/17/08. Our 60 days will be over on 3/15/09. DH had an emergency & had to go to the hospital last night. We don't have insurance & can't afford the medical bill. Can we include this bill in our bankruptcy? My instincts say no, but I'm still asking.

This is exactly why many gurus on here say do not file BK until you get things in order, like having enough income to support yourself post BK and health insurance.
I have crisis insurance with a high deductible and my lawyer mentioned it several times as a concern. He suggested that I put the 10,000 deductible in an account and not touch it. -

We had medical bills after filing - several - and they could not be included. I think they could if the bill was received after the filing for a service done BEFORE filing tho.Filed Ch 7 -- July 9, 2008
