    2 Questions, please help!

Ok so I have two questions. First: I live in a rental house. I also own another property which I rent for 1300 a month. I am trying to get rid of the house since I am over 100k negative on it. The income from the renters is throwing me over the median income for the state. Is there anything I can do?

Second: I work for a bank (which shall remain nameless). My mortgage on the rental property is through the same bank. I also have a credit card through them. If I do claim chapter 7 can they do anything to me? Has anyone ever heard anything like that.

    Thanks for the help........

I work for a large Bank that also does mortgages.. I would be *very* careful if you are including them in your BK.

I don't know about your Bank - but mine can find "reasons" to let someone go very easily: absences, tardies, sales, performance etc. And of course "that" would be the reason you are let go- "not" the BK where they were listed as a creditor.

They can't legally just let you go because you're charging off with them; but they could find another reason...

Is there anyway you can get those things re-fied with another lender before you have to file?

If you want to PM the bank you're at i may have better advice. I can't say who i work for on a forum like this - "against the rules"... Good luck!

oh and your first question... the only thing i can think of - is if you're letting the house go- kick the renters out. Move in,and live "rent free" for a bit- wait the 6 months or so to get your median income in guidelines and then file. If you can swing it
      good luck
