There has to be some way to get a car while in open bk right? We have been to 2 dealers saying they can get us a car knowing our situation. Our lawyer told us it would be no problem getting a car after we file. We were 12k upside down so she talked us into giving the vehicle back. 722 won't help cuz they are a creditor. The fresh start place isn't licensed in OH. I tow a trailer for my business and will be out of it if we can't find anyone to help. Our credit was great before our lawyer told us to stop paying our bills. Our 341 isn't till March. We have been to buy here/pay here and they want like at least 4k down. If I had that....... Any help out there???? Thanks

Do you have any money at all squirreled away? We once got a great deal on a Chevy Blazer with hitch that had low mileage for about 2K. We were able to put 1K down and brought the rest in the next month. This was before our BK, and we had a good working relationship with the used car dealer.
You might keep an eye open for some private sales also--you know, the vehicles parked with for sale signs in them. You have to have some good car knowledge or someone that will help you with that.
