How soon after you filed was your 341

Hello,

I was wondering how soon after you file do you get a 341 date? How many days or weeks after i file will i get the 341 meeting? Just wondering...

well i am getting ready to file....

i have the debtor education certificate
3yrs worth of tax transcripts
Working on filling forms

no asset case only one vehicle worth less the 3k.

any suggestions or tips please do...i am in california central district.

Hi,

As soon as I filed, the clerk gave me the date in my hand, then a week later I received the notice in the mail. I filed pro se also. Good luck to you.

Usually within 1 day to a week after filing you will receive your notice of 341. The 341 is scheduled around 30 days after the filing date.

Mine was assigned the day I filed ( Pro Se).

I suppose it may differ a bit with different districts

Are you filing in SB?

If so , the date you file your petition, they will hand you a form wth your deficiency list and that form will have the date of your 341 on it.

I am filing in Riverside California. It would be nice to know the same day...if they do i will post it here.

I'm in central California, too (L.A. County). My petition was filed electronically by my attorney on March 19 and my 341 was April 13 (about 3 1/2 weeks after filing). I received the notice of the hearing about a week after filing.

It was a lot sooner than I imagined.

Wow it sure was quick...maybe the electronic filing is sooner..good for you!

We filed April 3rd. Knew when meeting was same day, 341 is not until May 28th. Apparently there is a loooooong wait in eastern district of Mi.

Ours is coming up about 6 weeks after the filing. The notice took around 10 days to get.
It all depends on how many are being done in your area.
Our attorney says he will be in our town all day the 24th for our meeting as he has several clients with the same meeting date.

Our 341 is 7 weeks after filing. As far as when you got the date. We got it in the mail the following week(we filed on a friday)

I thought it was weird the meeting was so soon after filing.

We filed 12/28/2007 and our 341 was 2/7/2008--more or less 6 weeks after we filed. We received the notice about a week after we filed. Keep in mind we had a New year holiday in that time frame.

I filed on February 27th. My 341 is scheduled for April 22nd. Our district is busy too! (southern Ohio)
