Does anyone know how to stop automoatic payments from BofA Checking?

I have our motor home payment automatically drafted on the last day of the month and need to stop it from coming out. This is being included in our Chapter 7 and I can't figure out how to stop it. I remember I set it up online so there should be a way to stop it online I would think. I didn't want to raise any more flags with them at Bank of America yet by asking them. We just got our first phone call last night regarding our credit card with them being two payments late.

    Thanks,
    Katie

If you haven't filed yet, you should still be able to get to that page online. If they've already booted you out and you can't sign in, you have every right to call them and discontinue automatic payments (but keep records of when you called and who you talked to as B of A has a history of "forgetting" to follow through with the auto-pay cancellation).

I had to do this with B of A. I called and they just did it. No problems. IF it is still debited at the EOM, could always close the acct and let the RV folks know you'll be paying another way.

Or just contact YOUR bank in advance and place a stop payment in advance on any future BofA attempts to debit your account.
