If they take car when would it be?

So my auto loan is with a credit union and I have other debts with them.

I am filing soon and know the credit union may not let me keep the car. If they do not let me keep the car when would they take it? Will they take it when I file? Before the 340? While I am waiting the 60 days?

I am current on my auto loan and was never 30 days behind. I need to know about when they would take my car cuz with no car I will lose my job. I have no other transportation and no other choice but to file for chapter 7. Pray for a miracle they let me keep the car because I doubt any auto company would approve me after a chapter 7.

They can't take it until after the 341 meeting, once they've filed a motion for relief from stay, i believe. And how quickly after the 341 meeting depends on the credit union/bank. Sometimes it's quick, sometimes it's not.
