I've never used any of those sites... but I see your point for those who do. I googled both my name and DH's name - all that shows up is that I have a work-related website, I'm a digi scrapper, and that DH has written some pretty complicated reports for the USDA FS! Our church affiliations don't come up at all.

I had a creditor call me about my niece- HSBC, I think? He asked if I had her number to give him to call her and I said , uh no. Then he asked if I would give her a message and I said "sure, for twenty five dollars I'll do it". Dead silence, and then he asked I would I propose such a transaction that he would give me $25? I said " You send me a check for $25, I'll deposit in the bank and give it time to clear and when it does, I will give her the message that you called".
He hung up.

Don't be intimidated and just give them hell right back.
