    Had 341 Yesterday

    Well,
    We had our 341 yesterday. The trustee was very nice and like so many other people in this forum we were sworn in. Answered some questions and we were out of there. The trustee they do not expect us to see us in the court again and we should expect to receive our paperwork in about 60 + days.
    the funny thing is. If something is going to go wrong I am typically the person it will happen to.

    Congrats!!!

    Just out of curiousity, what district did you file in? Im in Southeastern District and I was told by my lawyer that my Trustee was a strict one. Yikes!
    Retained bk7 laywer 8-12-08, Filed 12-22, 341 Meeting Scheduled 1-29-09
         Discharged 4-17-09!!!
    Reason for filing: Medical, NOT irresponsibility with credit.

      I am in the western District. I spoke to someone here that went through the Eastern District and didn't have too much of a problem.

        May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
        9/11/09 - DISCHARGED!!!!

          Good luck during the 60 day wait, sounds like you're doing just fine and will be all set around V-Day!
          11/18/08 filed CH 7; 341: 12/11/09, cont'd to 01/06/09
          03/21/09 341 hearing for CH 13
          04/27/09 Confirmation hearing for CH 13
          $199/mth for 60 months + $9K 2008 income tax refund

            September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.

                      update:

                      Well.. I checked PACER today and here is what was written. Looks like good news for me.

                      "First Meeting of Creditors Held and Trustee's Report of No Distribution: Trustee of this estate reports and certifies that the trustee has performed the duties required of a trustee under 11 U.S.C. 704 and has concluded that there are no assets to administer for the benefit of creditors of this estate. I have received no funds or property of the estate, and paid no monies on account of the estate. Wherefore, the trustee prays that this report be approved and the trustee be discharged from office.. (trustee name removed by me) (Entered: 01/16/2009) "
