I just looked on Pacer and found two things that I'm not totally sure of the meaning. #1 - on the Case Summary page, it says FLAGS: MEANSNO.... what does that mean? And #2, on the docket it says: Notice of Appearance and Request for Notice filed by xxxx on behalf of Ford Motor Credit Company LLC - does that mean that Ford is going to appear at my 341? Thanks!

I have a Ford Escape that I lease, and am current on payments. I want to keep it. I called Ford earlier this month to make my payment (because they locked me out of the online payments), and told the guy I spoke to that I was planning on staying current and keeping the car. He mentioned something about papers to sign that they would send to my attorney... my understanding from my attorney is that there is no such thing as a re-affirmation agreement for a lease?Filed Ch7 BK - 12/10/08

I think all that means it that FMC wants to be noticed on all matters concerning your BK. Sometimes creditors file this just to ensure that they are notfied on everything. I don't think it is an indication that they will be attending your 341....not that they couldn't.You can't have your cake and eat it too. But you can dip your finger in the bowl and lick the icing
