SOMEONE - HELP what am i going to do??

Ok, so finally after numerous phone calls today and messages they finally called us and said that they are in constant contact with the trustee and that the trustee is not asking for any additional information from us. He said that they have been in contact with the trustee before the objection and after the objection and that they are working with him. He also said that the UST are flooded with these cases. He said they our case is cut and dry and that we have no assets. He told us to trust him and that this will get dismissed.

I hate to say this but i know i am suppose to trust him but i don't. I just have to hope and pray that this attorney is going to do us right. I am really confused.

Jessegirl - I'm very sorry to hear about your struggles. As others have told you, hang in there. I know the thoughts you are having now and how hopelessness feels. I think we all do on this forum.

If this were my situation, I would have a pen and notebook ready. Call the cc company, get the name of the person you are speaking to and log it on the notepad with the date, time and notes of the conversation. I would ask to speak to a supervisor or legal department, keep logging every bit of information and keep calling. Every day, every hour if you have to. Eventually someone will get sick of the calls and just give you the statements. If not, then you have a log to show the UST of your efforts to collect these statements.

I would do the same with your attorney. Make a log of every phone call you make. Visit his office and pester the crap out of him. When you visit the office, make sure to write in your notebook in front of the receptionist and maybe mumble that you need to keep a log of the times you contacted them with no return call or meeting for your malpractice case.

Just trust HIM??? what trust is earned not jsut give and he hasn't don't much to earn your trust. Now you have to hear about how busy the UST is that's not your problem

mean Dismissed or Discharged.?? I think something is fishy what the attorney tells you does not coincide with what is written on paper..... I think i was save the emails or start taping the phone convos, in the very least i would ask that the cc statements you do have be sent to the UST and i would be doing what i could do get the rest and send them to him.. some things ae just not adding up

I am going to start my phone calls tomorrow to all the Credit Cards. Hopefully, someone will have a heart and send them to me. thanks everyone for your help.

Today i went to the bank to cash in some change that i had and although i only had 22 dollars out of the machine spits out a medal and it landed in front of me and there on the floor was a medal of the Virgin Mary. I picked it up and have been rubbing it and praying.. I am jus trying to grasp on hope.

I agree. From all that you've said, I wouldn't trust him. I'd stay on him and keep good records in case this takes a turn for the worse. I would ask that he submit those cc statements and if he feeds you some BS about how he doesn't think that's necessary I'd send him a certified letter asking him to send them.

Hey Help - I am doing that as we speak. I am just putting in the email the phone conversationt that we had with him. This way I have proof. He says This is a cut and dry case and that it will discharge. I hope he is right. He states that he has had a few conversations with the trustee and that everything is fine. I hate the unknown. I hate it.
