Discharged vehicle and Divorce......
OK, I'm discharged.......But...........
One of the vehicles that i filled on was my soon to be X's car. When she bailed back in DEC. of 07, she took "Her" vehicle. This is a UN contest divorce. She moved to and has lived in Iowa for the last year. when she moved their and had to register it, She gave them the Calif. registration for the paper work in Iowa so she had proof of registration. Since i had not Bk'd on it at the time, The registration had mine and her's name on it. Now that im discharged and filing the Divorce paper work, Should my name be coming off the registration since i no longer am liable for the vehicle or would that be something that would that happen when the divorce is final which in the paper work is listed as going to her after divorce?
