    Self Employed

First.....I was all ready for my first lawyer appt. and I got the call today that he was going to be in court all day and it had to be rescheduled. Now I have to wait another WHOLE week. Just a minor annoyance.

Secondly, I am a self employed contractor. I work for only one agency doing in home counseling. I get paid a certain amount for each client I see. Kinda like piece work.

Since I am self employed, will I have to show more documentation of my income than a regularly employed person who works for an employer?

Like will I have to show more bank statements or income verifications. I will have the six months of pay stubs when I file, but I am wondering now if that will be enough.

Also, I hoping to file Chapter7 no asset. The only asset I have is my home which I think may squeak in under the mortgage + exemption amount. So except for the income from self employment, there is nothing more to look at.
I sure hope it goes smooth.

Hi, I am sure he will ask for a Profit and Loss statement.

      Good Luck!

If that is my Schedule C from my Federal Taxes it will not be a problem. I have it all ready.

          Our trustee asked

My trustee asked for current profit & loss statement from the date of filing, and 7 days prior to our 341. Luckily I use quickbooks and it was just a couple clicks.
