I have a truck and dirt bike as collateral for a loan. Is this going to be difficult to file pro se? I am willing to give them up in the filing... it would actually be a good thing. Other than the bike and truck, I am a chap 7 with no other assets. I just don't have money for an attorney so filing on my own is my only option.

If this ia what we call a No Asset case, then by all means, filing Chapter 7 pro se should be a walk in the park.
First thing you need to do, is get the NoLo guide to filing Chapter 7.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)

Eventually, they will get a motion for relief from stay, and then seek to repossess the items. They'll probably try to get you to reaffirm them. Just say no.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)

i think it depends also how many months you are behind.
besides you cant reaffirm it if ever u wud want to keep it.
coz they would base ur income on how u are capable to keep it.
so i would say it wud be ok.
I am about to do chap 7 pro se but not for me for my friend. which i have never done it except if im at work. but pro se seems to have a lot of drama coz you really gotta be careful with everything

Don't worry about that. Just say no to them.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
