I have nothing to hide but I'm nervous as hell. My attorney messed a few items up, forgot to add some of my debts after our last meeting where we fixed everything, and she got my year to date earnings wrong. She was supposed to have amended it 2 weeks ago but has never gotten back to me as promised so I'm not sure if she got around to it or simply forgot to do it.

It'll be fine, my atty screwed things up too, but the trustee was fine with it. For example we bought out a lease and the paperwork still indicated that it was a lease. I told the trustee that we bought it and then my atty chimed in that it was the same amount.

You will be fine, it will take longer to get there then it does to go through the process.

I had 930k in consumer debt, and not one eye was batted.

Hi All,

Well just got home from my 341. I went an hour early so I can get a feel for the trustee. I sat and watched about 20 cases before me. Man .... he absolutely drilled a bunch of them. Changed some to a chapter 13, asked all kinds of tax return questions etc. I was the next to last case, man talk about apprehension. I did the usual swear in, gave my name address etc.Went through the series of questions. I simply answered yes sir and no sir. When it came to my year to date he said I Grossed 49k when in actuality it was only 46K. The median for my state is 48K. I tried to correct it but he cut me off and just went on, didn't even give me a chance. Gave me a really quick means test, told me I was under, smiled and said "you are dismissed". Also he didn't mention my tax refund once!

Think mine was the fastest one in there and if I'm not mistaken I'm the only one he smiled at. Most of the other cases were given lots of extra paperwork to amend and return. I think I did ok?

Wow, congrats, welcome to the 60 day club! Sounds like the whole process is based on what trustee you get.

I really hope that Obama can help the whole process out, BK is a protection that we all have, you shouldn't be fearful of your rights!
