Nothing on Pacer after 12 days

    Nothing on Pacer after 12 days

    Hello everyone,
    My lawyer filed my case electronically on Dec 16th (supposedely). It still does not show up on Pacer after 12 days. My lawyer is moving locations and no one from his office returned my call during Christmas week. They are closed tomorrow and I am simply going to drive over to their new office on Tuesday and find out what's going on.

    Does anyone know....Is there any way my lawyer actually filed my case on the 16th and it still not show up on Pacer? I can't believe there could be such a lag time, especially since there are cases on there with file dates from the previous couple of days. Is my freaking out justified? !!

    Thanks in advance for any help/advice...you guys/gals are great.

    If your attorney filed your case on the 16th, did he/she give you a case #? When the paralegal at my attorney's office filed my case electronically, she called me back that next morning with my case#.

      Also, make sure you logged in to the correct PACER site. Sometimes, people have been known to log into the U.S. District Court and NOT the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

      I'm not saying who has done that... but it has been done before.

        You are so RIGHT! I think most of us have done that one time or another!
