Moving to Cali form MI have some ?'s where is it better to file at??

I am moving to Cali form MI.

Should I wait till file, I can hold off on fling.

Is it better to file in Cali? How is the S.D. area, are they easy or hard on you?

How long do I have to wait before I file while living there? What do they need to see to prove the date I started living there??

Im not sure but I "think?" you have to live in that state for 2 years? And I hear S.D. is a good place to file and a nice place to live. I do know that Ca. exemptions are really terrific, not sure of the state your in you should do a comparison..But if Im right about how long you have to be a resident, it might not work for you. Good luck tho

Some have said 90-180 days,not sure however. I heard Ca is better but michigan also has the federal exemptions which I might not sure if it is better then California exemptions.

You should print out Mi and Ca exemptions put them next to each other

see which one is best for you. Yes Ca doesnt have fed exemptions...

If you are moving to California, you couldn't have picked a better place. San Diego is the best! It's very pricey though.

You are soooo right about SD having the best climate. Perfect year round. I live 2 hours North of San Diego and would give anything to live there.
