Personal Chp 7 and my small side business

So this year I started a small ebay and online business. It will be a loss when I file my taxes this year. What a bad year to start a business.

    My situation:

sales/profit is not going to be more than 3k. My start up fees and inventory cost a lot and used cards and loans to pay for them..much more than the 3 k I made . These are the cards and loans I am looking to have discharged. How will this effect my bankruptcy?

it won't affect it much if you have other debt as well that adds up to more than the business debts; i'm guessing this side business debt is less than 50% of your total debt so your case will still be considered CH 7 consumer (vs. nonconsumer, as it would be if the nonconsumer related debts were more than 50% of the total).

better to have a bigger picture before we start pinning tails on donkeys though. have more details to share?

How do you own your business - sole prop? S-corp? C-corp?

That will make a difference as to how your BK is affected.
