My meeting of Creditors is tomorrow morning, quick question...

    Quick question...
my meeting of creditors is tomorrow at 9am (eeeee!)
All my lawyer asked me to bring is my social security card and license.
If the trustee requests bank statements or anything else, do we have a 2nd meeting? And does it delay my entry to the 60 day club? Should I bring all documents I think they might ask for so there isn't a 2nd meeting. Or is there always a second meeting?
Don't take my word for it, I'm just sayin'

Since your meeting is tomorrow--Good Luck--BTW, your paperwork has already been filed and the trustee will have a copy of it in his or hand. If you had been required to bring anything with you other than the license and SS card, your attorney would have been notified who in turn would (or should) have notified you. If you filed pro se, then you would have been notified directly. I think you will be okay. Just dress in business casual attire, and go plenty early to get a parking spot.

If it makes you feel better, take your copy of your paperwork. But I'll bet you won't need it.

Please let us know how it goes.

I would take a copy of things with me. For instance, my attorney asked for my "bank statements" at the time of filing. I, for some reason, was only thinking checking account so that is all I provided. The night before my 341 when I was going over everything to make sure everything was together last minute, I thought...."duh, what about savings??" So, I took the savings statement with me to my 341 and he took it then without problem. So, better safe than sorry, I say....take your papers with. Think of it this way....if you take then and don't need them there is about 0% chance you will regret taking them....but if you DON'T take them and need them....you will be really regretful! JMHO....better safe than sorry...it doesn't cost any more to take them

The trustee will ask you to state your name and address then ask to see you license and SS card.
                    He will swear you in.
He/she all as if you have reviewed your petition.
He will show you your last year’s tax return and ask you if it is your tax return.
He will ask have there been any changes since you filed.
He will ask you if you have come into any money lottery inheritance.
                    That’s about it.

HAD MY 341! and im still alive!!!!

                              Welllllll,

Get there early! (parking was insane)

Entered the room and saw about 20 others like me with their lawyers. First thing you do it check in (social security and license) and you are handed a paper to fill out...

The paper is pretty much a summary of what you filed, if you have any other cases, etc... and then you wait till your name is called, mine was called 2nd so my attorney and I sit next to the trustee infront of everyone else and we get sworn in. As I sat down the trustee asked me questions from the paper I just filled out (most were yes or no questions) veryyyy simple. And then he said go ahead and go, and good luck. My attorney didn't have to say a word but "my name is so and so, here to represent so and so" and "thank you, goodbye"

                              EASY AS PIE!!!!!!

and guess what? only 5 minutes with the trustee tops!

                              Now, i just wait....
IM IN THE 60 day club!! WOOOOO!
Don't take my word for it, I'm just sayin'
