Ready, I know this is hard to do but all the crying, the worring, anxiety, etc will not help and, in fact, will make things worse as you are not thinking straight.

So take a deep breath and say, "Hey, I am doing all I can so that is that." and let it go.

If they ever figure out how to get blood out of a turnip we may all be in trouble but until then, hey - this is what the situation is.

As for dating each other - I'll bring a bottle of wine. (Not too expensive, however.

              Hi Pukey,
That thing you wrote about the dog...well that's me! Our furry friends are such solace, aren't they? And so are good friends, family and this forum. I started obessessing again today about my stupid BTs that went into my account and then to other cc's in Sept 08, and what if I can't pay the mins. past January, and you know like you they are pretty large sums... will i or wont i be okay?
We've talked about this before, and some folks have gotten me pretty worked up thinking it's gotta be at least a year between BTs or else you can count on objections. It would be great if we knew the "secret formula" that the cc companies used to calculate which ones to object to.
But I'm thinking, even if they do object... so what? Like you I have long history of perfect payments with these clowns, so what's their claim going to be? After 10 years she decided to rip us off? Uh-uh. I don't even think I'd need a lawyer to answer that objection!
I mean, if you did BTs to get lower interest rates over a longer period, how does that mean you were intending to defraud or planned on filing BK, huh? Explain that one, Mr. Chase!
Anyone else want to weigh in on the one year or 90 days after BT issue??

About the BT...What happens if you paid them for 5 or 6 months and then quit paying...does it look like fraud?

I think 5 or 6 months is a good time line. I only have 3 payments under my belt on 2 out of 3 of my biggies. It'll be 7 months when I file. I looked at everything again last night and the only one that concerns me is the one BofA where I had them put 2 checks it in my checking about. One check actually was used to pay another Bof A 8k. So I guess they can ask themselves back for that lol...4,500 went to Schwab lost it...the rest went to pay bills. No Club Meds for this kid...The only one that may come back is 5k. And if thats all then I'll pay that...
My attorney says it would cost 2k apiece to fit the objections if they occur. So Im trying to save just in case. But I will fight it.
I have to say the phone calls are getting to me.. I had 26 calls at my salon yesterday..26? Thats hassarement for sure...I didnt even turn on my cell...

Aww, me too, Pukes. I was telling my friend today that I have a bunch of virtual friends on this forum, and it's cool...except now I worry about y'all..."I wonder what's going to happen with Pukey's Mexico property?"
So here's a question: I too would fight any objections, and $2000 a piece would be worth it considering we're talking 5 figure balances! If we WIN, would the cc companies have to pay our attorney fees? That only seems fair.
                      Anyone know that one?
p.s. I DO think you should go out with that guy...we could all use a little TLC at a time like this!

Does it mean we can have the best of everything at the party? - jb
