An appearance has been entered with the court which attorneys do when they represent a plaintiff in a matter. The Certificate of Service accompanies the document showing that service was made on such and such a date which is a requirement. All it is is a notice that this plaintiff now has an attorney and all correspondence/documents regarding that matter are to be sent to that attorney. The Court will change their information to reflect that.
