Stressed to the MAX!!!!! Need advice

I am a now-single working mom of two small kids. After years of excellent credit, my marriage ended. The downward spiral began. After enduring nearly a year of nonstop collections calls and a ridiculous amount of stress and anxiety, along with a new job at work, the light bulb finally went off...file bankruptcy! I was so tired of struggling from month to month and couldn't see an end in sight. To file bankruptcy would be such an embarrassing failure for me -- it would prove how irresponsible and incompetent I really am. NOT! The fact was that my credit was already ruined with late payments, so how much worse could a bankruptcy be? I contacted my atty with the thought that a Ch. 13 would be my only option because I was well over the median. I just wanted the creditors to stop calling. NOT! Once he completed the means test and was eligible for a Ch. 7, and I could scrape up the $300 to get the paperwork started, my prayers were answered. My 341 no asset meeting was on 10/27 and I expect a discharge the day after Christmas. So far, so good. Honey, don't sweat it. You gotta do what you gotta do to keep the family afloat. As many have said here before, "bad things happen to good people." Cheer up..it's not the end of the world, for sure. Just remove the emotions from the equation and handle your business. I wish you the best of luck.

You'll be fine! It's not worth distroying your health from worrying about money. This is a temperary problem. Your health is something you have to live with for the rest of your life.
