Filing Pro Se chapter 7 to StAY foreclosure

I'm getting ready to file chapter 7 to stay my foreclosure auction here in Ft Lauderdale, FL.

From what I understand..I must submit the Official Petition, Statement of SS#, Exibit D (credit Council), Credit Matrix, and Application to pay filing fee's in installments. And then I submit the rest w/in 15 days?

Do I seem to be missing anything to get it started and put a stay on my foreclosure auction?

Just make sure you have every address regarding the foreclosure on your creditor matrix. Including the mortgage company, agent of service, foreclosure attorney, the county, and whichever office is conducting the foreclosure.

Pre-filing BK counseling?

woodsprite is right; have to have that before you file...though i think you might be able to file an emergency petition and provide proof of the prefiling cert within 14 days...but the date the counseling occurs needs to be prior to the date you file.

so - hit an Internet prefiling counseling course, complete it, then file - then provide the cert.
