I'll be sure to leave my Coach bag at home. I got it as a gift about 10 years ago, but it still looks brand new, even with almost daily use. Sometimes it's worth it to spend an extra few bucks...if you have it, that is

Those 80 year old people had done a reverse mortgage and it ran out. The trustee keep saying "But there suppose to pay you until your time is up" and the old people kept saying well ours stopped. So the trsutee says someone should check to see if they are legitimate company. So now I guess they have to worry about being kicked out now. Poor things!!!! It broke my heart. Noboby to watch there back, even the trustee felt bad for them. You can tell them have no money at all. Some people just have that look when they are old, when they have no money. Its really sad. So now, I leave there and all can think about is these people and still do. Just breaks my heart. I pray for them...

And about the nails - My nails looked like flat head screw drivers when i went to my 341. I went el'naturel......LOL. I used to get the nails and pedi done too, but those days are gone for now.

I always count my blessings. You never know when things can get much worse.

Dress as you might go to a restaurant, not your Sunday best necessarily but not what you'd rake the yard in either.

It is okay to wear a simple wedding band but it is best not to wear other jewelry.

A simple watch is fine but if you own an expensive watch leave it at home.

It is very likely the trustee will be looking much more closely in the next 10 days at her case, best not to attract that kind of attention....

I've always worried about those reverse mortgages. The problem is they always like most of our economy were based on the home continuing to increase in value. However if your home equity was to fall to 0 or negative then there is nothing left for the reverse mortgage to pay out. I've always been afraid my grandma took one out on her home, I don't know for sure but I worry about it.

I asked my attorney about designer items, he said as long as they can be exempted I was fine. Of course, I didn't rock LV at the 341.

Ahhh yes, the good 'ol mani and pedi days! I barely remember them! LOL Man i wish i could get one right now! I have to admit that i DO have a coach bag and wallet (DH bought them for me for our 1st anniversary 3 years ago back in the big commission pay days, oh how i miss those ) and i do still use them daily......BUT i'd still not take them to a 341, i mean DUH common sense here people! LOL

LOL. Me too! I have one of the bigger coach purses that i bought at the outlet for like $300 - and use it daily. It's the biggest "luxury" item i have ever purchased- but would *not* bring it to my BK case! lol. that's too funny...
